A dialogue between past and present
From the very beginning of SUKē, one question became essential:
What story was our very first scarf meant to tell?
The answer was obvious: the Silk Road.
Much more than a trade route, it was a bridge between civilizations , a space for exchange where materials, knowledge, beliefs and arts circulated.
From Chang'an (now Xi'an) to Lyon, from the frescoes of Dunhuang to the silk workshops of Lyon, silk has woven the links of a thousand-year-old dialogue.
With this first collection, SUKē awakens this link between East and West and invites the memory of travel to settle on the skin.
A cultural tapestry woven in silk
The Silk Road was both land-based and maritime.
Across deserts and oases, ports and cities, traveled silks, spices, porcelains, but also philosophies, music, architectures and dreams .
Today, SUKē transforms this circulation of ideas into a visual language : a silk that tells a story, a scarf that becomes a meeting place.
From history to illustration: Three scarves, three stories
Designed by textile designer Qín Yuèbīn , the "Silk Road" collection pays homage to the landscapes, civilizations and symbols that marked this cultural route.
Each scarf is a narrative fresco, a visual meditation on travel and memory.
The Miraculous Oasis
Between the cliffs of Jiayuguan, caravans set off into a golden desert. Celestial birds and shifting dunes evoke the poetry of Dunhuang and the power of the sandy roads.
The City of the Western Lands
Loulan, the Sogdian merchants, the Pamir mountains: a world of exchanges and cross-pollination unfolds there, imbued with the wind of the steppes and the trace of vanished civilizations. A tribute to Quanzhou, former “first port of the East”, crossroads of Arab, Persian, Indian and African cultures.

The language of shapes and symbols
Each motif draws from the intertwined legacies of the Silk Road:
Oriental fluidity: supple lines and empty spaces inspired by the frescoes of Dunhuang.
Cultural fusions: Persian geometries, Central Asian arabesques and Chinese motifs intertwine in a single composition.
Western balance: arches and curves derived from Roman architecture embody a modern, discreet, structured luxury.
SUKē thus creates a hybrid, poetic, timeless aesthetic.
Each scarf, a fragment of a journey
Each piece is accompanied by a history card outlining its inspirations.
To wear it is to prolong the gesture of an ancient journey — a silent movement between eras, between cultures.
