OUR COMMITMENT
At SUKē, we believe that a luxury product can no longer exist without ethical requirements.
From the very beginning, we have chosen a human-scale model, based on quality, durability and respect for everyone involved in the creation of our pieces.
Our ambition is not to make promises, but to build, step by step, a house consistent with the values it defends.
Respect the material and the environment
Silk is a natural, biodegradable fiber, produced without petroleum or synthetic materials. It's one of the most environmentally friendly textiles when processed with care—which we're committed to doing.
At SUKē, we work exclusively with workshops that share this requirement and integrate a rigorous environmental approach into each stage of manufacturing.
Our scarves are made in OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified workshops and comply with European REACH regulations.
These certifications guarantee that the silk is free from substances harmful to health and skin , and that no banned or controversial chemical compounds are used during processing, dyeing or finishing.
We do everything to limit our environmental impact , right down to the choice of printing techniques.
Our scarves are printed using very high quality digital printing , a process which offers a very fine rendering while consuming much less water and resources than traditional printing.
Finally, our boxes and supports are FSC certified , which guarantees responsible sourcing of the paper from sustainably managed forests.
For us, committing to quality also means committing to the environment.
Boxes that respect the forest
Our boxes and paper products come from FSC- certified sources. This guarantees responsible forest management (traceability, preservation of biodiversity, respect for local communities).
Choosing FSC for our cases means extending our commitment beyond the product: reducing the impact of packaging, without compromising on the beauty or protection of your pieces.
Respect the women and men behind each piece
At SUKē, we believe that true luxury cannot exist without respect for those who make it possible.
We work exclusively with human-sized workshops located in China, selected not only for their exceptional know-how, but also for their exemplary social practices.
Each of them is BSCI certified — an international standard that guarantees ethical, safe and supervised working conditions, including respect for schedules, the prohibition of forced labor or discrimination, and decent remuneration for all employees.
This respect is not a formality. We have built a relationship of trust with these workshops, based on regular visits, direct exchanges, and a shared desire to preserve the richness of the artisanal gesture in a fair and sustainable framework.
Each SUKē scarf is the fruit of patient, demanding and deeply human work .
Behind every hand-rolled hem, every carefully printed design, there is a committed team, attentive eyes, and expert hands.
By choosing SUKē, you are not only wearing an object of beauty, but also a vision of luxury that places people at the heart of its approach.
